Sara Crowe

Sara Crowe has been the Managing Partner of BST America since establishing the company in 2001. Prior to 2001, she received an MBA in Finance and spent 20 years in sales and subsequently project management, planning and implementing telecommunications and trading systems for large global financial firms. For the past 21 years, she and Partner Bill Noorlander have been providing the Financial, Accounting and Consulting industries, among others, with insightful advice and strategic direction on a diverse array of market data challenges. Sara has in-depth experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, while working with front, middle and back-office stakeholders, and other technologists to ensure best practices are met in vendor management, contract negotiations, usage analysis, cost reduction and avoidance, outsourcing, staffing, workflow, administrative practices, governance and compliance, etc. Working globally, Sara and Bill and their staff continue to refine and enhance BST’s vision to provide knowledge and perspective to clients as they navigate the changing market data landscape.

Bill Noorlander

Bill Noorlander has been a Partner at BST America for 20 years, after many years of working experience with global Accounting and Financial Services firms – including 12 years as a senior market data executive at a major global bank. Bill has deep knowledge and insight about the market data sector and landscape.  He is skilled at analyzing vendor content, understanding suppliers/products benefits and usage rights, strategizing with clients about business requirements and setting the right approach to maximize their investment in content and data products and services.

Bill, along with the rest of the BST America team, has developed a global approach to supporting a wide client base with many levels of content and data business requirements.  He plays an integral role supporting senior leadership at BST clients as the marketplace moves from traditional transaction-based data usage and requirements to trending visions of new and integrated use levels, new products and service development. As a leader in the industry, Bill is adept at assisting BST’s clients on how to best monetize data, content and knowledge.

Joe Hatton

Joining BST in 2019, Joe Hatton is the Managing Director of the BST London Office and is responsible for driving business activities in the European region. Joe is an internationally experienced manager with long-standing expertise specializing in strategy, process improvement, metrics, control, change management and software implementation. Joe has held positions in Singapore, Switzerland, Poland and UK and has over 15 years of experience within the Market Data sector.

Susan Edmands

Prior to joining BST in 2008, Susan served as Vice President, Corporate Quality Service at a consulting firm where she designed and implemented corporate training and professional development programs, established quality standards for the firm’s deliverables and managed the firm’s resource center to maintain the highest quality standards at the lowest possible cost. She also served on the firm’s Acquisition/ Integration Team to evaluate acquisition targets.

At BST, Susan serves clients in various industries, providing them with centralization/optimization of market data contracts to realize cost savings, post-acquisition resolution of bankruptcy cure practices, end user surveys to streamline content and service models, contract evaluation and vendor negotiations, management of RFIs and RFPs for selection of new vendors or realigning current relationships, benchmarking, and implementation of market data management systems. Her underlying focus is to establish a working relationship with clients that engenders trust and mutual respect so that each engagement results in a mutual conclusion: that BST and the client have had a successful and productive journey.

Peggy Clark

Peggy joined the BST team in April 2017 in the position of Chief Financial Officer. Peggy is a certified public accountant with over 27 years of experience. After graduating from Pace University in 1993, she joined a top-tier public accounting firm specializing in audit and corporate tax. She has experience in public, private, and nonprofit sectors in companies such as KPMG, Kraft Foods, and other financial institutions.

BST Supporting Staff

BST has deep ties into the market data industry and as such has access to a wide range of professionals that have worked with us on many projects over the years. Across the past 20 years we have had no fewer than 10 members of the support staff at work either on-site with a client, as project leaders or as colleagues participating in project execution. We hire staff who have experience as buyers/users and/or suppliers; everyone brings a fresh perspective.
